What is a Certificate of Good Standing?
A Certificate of Good Standing is a documentary evidence of a medical professional’s good reputation. The decision to issue a certificate is made by the Ethics Committee of the Public Register of Medical Specialists. As a rule, this document is required by those specialists who plan to continue their education or professional activities abroad.
What does having a certificate give?
The Good Standing certificate indicates that its owner:
- Has not been found guilty of unprofessional conduct or disciplinary violation
- Is not the subject of any investigations, open complaints or accusations
- Has not been subject to disciplinary action, including revocation, suspension of license or probation
- Not been found guilty of a criminal act that may be relevant to the licensing decision
- Not currently subject to competency testing or supervision
What is the certificate for?
A Good Standing Certificate is required for:
- Obtaining registration in other countries for the purpose of further employment
- Obtaining postgraduate education
- Internship completion
- Obtaining membership in international organizations
How to get a certificate?
Good Standing Certificate is required:
- Register in the Public Register of Medical Specialists
- Complete and send the application form to info@russianmedicalcouncil.org
- Make a payment
How to make a payment?
When you send the application and documents, you will receive a receipt with payment details and the amount to the email address you specified. After paying the receipt at the bank branch, you send us a scan of it by mail.
When can I get the certificate?
The certificate is issued within 10 to 14 days from the date of application. You can send the application form and documents to the address — info@russianmedicalcouncil.org
